Virtual Market – Info & Booking form

What is a Virtual Market?

Please read my announcement here regarding the 3rd May market.

A Virtual Market is simply ONE place where customers can visit and shop online from the comfort of their own home.

How will the Virtual Market work?

Customers will be directed to visit a dedicated page on the Made with Love website where all the partipating stallholders will be listed in categories (eg beauty products, candles, artwork, clothing etc).

Shoppers will then be able to click on the stallholder listing and be taken to further information and images with links to website or online store, or Facebook.

They will choose their items and shop directly with the stallholder. This means I have NO direct interaction with the customer including dealing with money or postage etc. That will be left up to each stallholder.

They will then navigate back to the Made with Love Virtual Market webpage to continue shopping.

Other than that I will be treating this market as usual, countdowns, Facebook and Instagram shout-outs, competitions and even working on a shopping playlist on Spotify!

How Long will the Market Run For?

As we are promoting this as a Mother’s Day market to allow for extra time for postage and delivery the market will run for ONE WEEK. From 9am Sunday 26th April until 9pm Sunday 3rd May.

What if I don’t have a website or online store?

There are some easy ways to still participate, Etsy or Shopify are easy marketplaces to set up and I know Shopify are currently offering 90 days free.

OR the easiest way is to setup a Facebook album like Rainbows & Ringlets has done in the past. Then simply private message the buyer, arrange payment via bank transfer and get their delivery details.

I will be compiling some more information on tips to set up, how to market yourself and what specials or discounts or any other offers in the next week or so.

How do I Participate?

The flat rate to participate in the Virtual Market is $25.

This will ensure your spot for ONE WEEK on the “Virtual Marketplace”, as well as extensive advertising online and in print media. I will be pushing VERY HARD to support local and support small during these difficult times and I for one am happy I can still shop with my favourite handmade stores!

If you have already paid for the 3rd May market, your $25 fee will be deducted and the remainder credited towards any market for 2020.
