Important May Market Update
24th March, 2020.
To our wonderful handmade community,
Sadly I have had to make the decision to cancel / postpone the Mother’s Day market, which was to be held Sunday 3rd May.
In the 9 years I’ve been running this market, I have never had to postpone or cancel a market and I know I am not the only one who is deeply saddened by this decision.
However, after consulting with our Facebook followers and current stallholders, I am SUPER excited to announce I will now be holding a VIRTUAL Mother’s Day market.
We are all affected by the Covid-19 crisis in varying degrees and I am sure many of you feel like me; powerless and sad but most of all feeling the need to HELP…. but how?
Well… this is how… I am going to work my little butt off over the next few weeks to bring a market unlike any other we’ve had… to your loungeroom! You will have easy access to all our stallholders who will bring you their amazing goodies, have specials, discounts and prizes… and you can shop from the comfort of your house. (I suggest wearing your pjs and a glass of wine, just to make the experience extra special 😀 )
The items you purchase will be delivered to your house, or direct to any other address you wish (so you can get presents sent straight to your Mum!)
To allow time for our stallholders to pack and send or deliver your goodies AND also allow extra time for Australia Post to deliver there is another big announcement…
The market won’t just be for one day, it will be for ONE WEEK!
Starting 9am Sunday 26th April and finishing 9pm Sunday 3rd May.
I am determined to support our local handmade market businesses. And I ask you to do your part to help. Even just buying one item from one stallholder will make a difference! But another way you can help is by sharing this news far and wide, because really, anyone, anywhere can shop and buy something special handmade! I would LOVE to make this the BIGGEST MARKET EVER!!!
I am very excited that I can still hold a market, albeit it in a slightly different format. So I personally invite you along to our Mother’s Day Virtual Market to show your love and support for our wonderful handmade community. And bring a little positive into our lives.
Stay tuned! More announcements and exciting news to follow!

June Gold Coin Donation – ARCH

I am absolutely thrilled to announce our charity for the June market is ARCH. Just read about the amazing work they do:
(and check out their cute animals currently up for adoption)
ARCH was established in September 2013 and is a not-for-profit organisation that has an ongoing charitable purpose of working towards the rescue and re-homing of unwanted animals in the mid-north coast region of New South Wales.
o Who are we:
ARCH is made up of members who actively manage the administrative side of the organisation. It also has foster carers who temporarily provide homes for animals that ARCH is responsible for whilst waiting for a permanent home.
o How does it work:
ARCH is in close contact with country pounds and other rescue agencies and with their help we take in animals that mostly have been scheduled for euthanasia. We arrange for the animal registration and ownership transfer to ARCH and we place it with a suitable foster carer until a permanent home can be found.
o Where are we:
ARCH does not have kennels; all of our animals are placed with loving foster families. ARCH attends local markets and has fundraising events where we raise awareness of the need for the rescue agencies and responsible animal ownership.
